Construction Courses
At the Youth Education Centre, we offer a range of different courses for all our students. Unlike other secondary schools, we create individual learning plans for every student. To accommodate each student, we offer more than just the standard SACE courses.
Hospitality Courses
With the certificate II in Food Processing course, you will gain an understanding of the introduction to café, sales, and barista training skills. Completing this course also opens up pathways for future development, with a Certificate III in Food Processing, Certificate III in Baking, and a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery available upon completion.
SACE Aboriginal Studies
The Youth Education Centre (YEC) is proud to offer high-quality, inclusive courses and a welcoming and positive learning environment.
In keeping with this proud history, the YEC now offers Indigenous education in its curriculum. This includes a SACE Aboriginal studies course and important cultural activities.
SACE Studies
At the Youth Education Centre, we’re focussed on delivering a high standard of education to all our students. The YEC combines academic excellence with a welcoming and inclusive environment. This helps to reinvigorate students, instilling a love for learning that helps them become the best version of themselves.
Vocational Courses
Unlike some secondary schools, the Youth Education Centre offers more than just a SACE education. We’re proud to offer VET and Vocational courses at the Youth Education Centre. This allows our students to truly take the first steps toward a meaningful career, following whichever career path they’re passionate about.
