Tyre Fitting


Name Of Course: Tyrefitting
What Certifications Are Available: Bridgestone Australia Partial Certificate I Automotive: Tyre Fitting
Students who successfully complete this course may also eligible for 10 SACE credits from their home school through Stage 1 Community Learning, where applicable.
Prerequisits: Minimum age of 15 years. USI Number Required.
What Is Involved: This training provides students with practical hands on experience with a range of tyres, rims and other equipment. Students focus on tyre types, balancing and alignment, appropriate repair and maintenance techniques, and develop an understanding of driving and vehicle compliance requirements. Students receive 3 modules from the current Certificate I Automotive package including;
  • AURLTJ2002 - Remove, inspect, repair and fit tyres and tubes
  • AURLTJ2003 - Remove, inspect, and refit light vehicle wheel assemblies
  • AURTTJ2001 - Balance wheels and tyres
  • Students are recognised as fully qualified tyrefitting specialists through Bridgestone Australia on completion, and are eligible to apply for paid employment through any tyre reseller across Australia.
    Cancellation Process: Receipt of the completed Short Course Expenditure Authorisation form will be taken as authorisation to invoice for the cost of the course. If the student does not arrive to commence the course we will not provide any refunds.
